AQUAPONICS UNITED – AU, tax identification number G72938491, registered at Calle Orfebres de Riviera, no. 22, Urbanización Las Begonias, no. 33, Riviera del Sol, 29649 Mijas, Málaga, Spain, is the data controller. Privacy requests may be sent to aquaponicsunited@gmail.com. AU may request information needed to verify the requester’s identity.
2. Data processed
Depending on the relationship, AU may process identification and contact details, address and country, organization and representative details, requested membership category, application answers, membership status, AU account details, fee and PayPal transaction references, service-enrolment records, correspondence, and essential security logs. The public form does not request passwords, card details or identity documents.
3. Purposes and legal bases
AU processes enquiries and applications to take requested pre-contractual steps; administers membership to perform the membership relationship and comply with Spanish association, accounting and tax duties; reconciles authorized payments and protects its systems on contractual, legal-obligation and legitimate-interest grounds; and sends optional news only with consent. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.
4. Recipients and international transfers
Access is limited to authorized AU personnel and governing bodies. Necessary providers may process data for hosting, email, Dolibarr, security, payment, professional advice or technical support under appropriate safeguards. PayPal processes payment credentials under its own privacy notice; AU receives payment status and transaction references, not card credentials. Data is not automatically shared with sponsors. If a member chooses a third-party benefit, AU will explain the provider, data and purpose first. Transfers outside the EEA will rely on a GDPR-recognized safeguard.
5. Retention
General enquiries and rejected or incomplete applications are normally retained for no more than 12 months after resolution. Member records are retained during membership and afterwards only as required for legal duties and claims. Accounting evidence is generally retained for six years and tax evidence for at least four years, subject to applicable limitation rules. Optional communications continue until consent is withdrawn or the person objects.
6. Rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability where applicable, and withdraw consent without affecting prior lawful processing. Contact AU at the address above. You may also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
7. Security, cookies and minors
AU uses access controls, restricted permissions and secure communications appropriate to the risk. Do not send passwords, payment credentials, identity documents or sensitive information through ordinary form fields or email. The site currently uses no advertising or audience-measurement cookies; essential server logs may be generated for delivery and security. The application is intended for adults and duly represented organizations.
8. Decisions and changes
AU does not admit or reject members solely by automated means. Authorized people review applications. This policy will be updated when processes, providers or legal requirements change.
